Do you want to scrutinise how taxpayers’ money is spent?

The newly elected Chair of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Deputy Lyndsay Feltham, is currently seeking applications from Islanders to join the Committee as a voluntary lay member for the next four years.

The Chair is especially keen on attracting Islanders from a diverse range of communities and professional backgrounds to apply.

About the role:

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the new Public Accounts Committee (PAC) as non-elected member and play a significant role in scrutinising how taxpayers’ money is spent.

This part-time voluntary role would best suit senior professionals, including but not limited to IT, finance, HR, regulatory, legal or third sector environments. Successful applicants will be passionate about ensuring public money is spent efficiently and be able to demonstrate strong teamwork, analytical and communications skills.
