Parish Meeting 12th October at 7pm – Updated post

After a long process of public engagement, the final Trinity Village Improvement Scheme will be presented at a Parish meeting to be held at the Parish Hall on Thursday 12th of October at 7:00pm.

The Parish Project Board and officers from the Infrastructure Department have considered the results of the numerous consultations that have taken place, together with Parishioners’ more recent comments in drafting the final scheme.  The proposals that appeared to be the most contentious in the previous scheme have been omitted, while retaining the widely supported benefits of a safer crossing between Les Maisons Cabot and Le Grand Clos and the current parking provisions for the village shop.

There are no longer proposals to change the flow of traffic, although there will be a reduction in speed limits on some roads in the heart of the Parish.  These speed limit changes will be identified by simple gateway features applied to the road surface and raised platforms are not proposed.

If any Parishioner is unable to attend the public meeting on 12th October but would like to hear more about the new Scheme, the Connétable is happy to meet you at a mutually convenient time.  In the first instance please contact the Parish office.
