Aims of Trinity Climate Change Group

The Parish of Trinity Climate Change Group is made up of volunteers who together work to raise awareness about climate change, which besides affecting our Parish and Island also has an effect on our health.

Our aims are:

• To promote the concept of the Parish becoming a low carbon community
• To improve our communities understanding of the causes and consequences of climate change
• To encourage all residents, businesses and Parish organisations to take a series of steps to reduce their carbon footprint
• To promote awareness of adaptions required due to climate change and the effects on nature and wildlife
• To encourage the concept of reduce, reuse and recycle within the Parish
